Earlier this month, one of the 1st grade teacher's at Lakeside unexpectedly had to leave school early. During her absence, Lakeside's highly respected principal, Mr. Hoog stepped in and taught the 25 eager first graders a math lesson while the students waited for their substitute teacher to arrive. The students were totally engaged in the lesson and it was nice to see our principal step in and teach the students. Thanks, Mr. Hoog for always supporting your teachers and students!
